Yeongdeungpo

Patagonian Mara

With its large ears, the Patagonian mara looks a bit like a rabbit, though at first glance it might resemble a roe deer or a sika deer. It is the fourth-largest rodent in the world, following the capybara, beaver, and porcupine. It has four toes on its front feet and three on its hind feet, making it a distant relative of guinea pigs and capybaras. Since they are very skittish, speak in whispers and move carefully when you’re around a mara.
