Coco, the fairy of Tokotukan and the best friend of Baba, the Guardian of Life.
She has excellent eyesight and can easily see things from far away.

Coco used to be a bird that couldn’t fly.
After following Baba to the Zoolung Forest, Coco regained her ability to fly,
and she became Baba’s very best friend!

Sandy, the fennec fox fairy, is a nature-loving friend who enjoys tending to the garden during the day
and stargazing at night.

She helps people who get lost in the desert by observing the stars,
and her keen hearing allows her to pick up sounds from far away instantly.
Although she sometimes thinks Rage’s ukulele is a bit loud,
she and Rage are good friends.

If you ever get lost in the Vine Forest, just call out Sandy’s name.
No matter where you are, Sandy will hear your voice, rush to your side,
and guide you home.

Lazy, the sloth fairy who loves music, naps, and poetry.
She loves playing the ukulele,
so she sometimes gets scolded by the sensitive Sandy,
but Lazy’s playing is the best in the Vine Forest!

It may seem like Lazy sleeps all day long,
but in fact, she closes her eyes to write poetry and compose songs.

Smile~ Milo, the fairy with the beautiful smile,
is the wizard of the Zoolung Forest.

She’s a mischievous little troublemaker who sometimes causes a ruckus with her magic,
but she also uses her magic to help her friends.

Due to human-caused environmental pollution,
life on Earth is disappearing. But there is a glimmer of hope.

On a planet destroyed by humans,
living beings gathered their last strength to give birth
to the seeds of life.

A tiny sprout emerged from a corner of a garbage heap.
The sprout grew into a great tree, bearing clusters of life.

Animals who had lost their homes
are reborn through the fruits of the Tree of Life.
The seeds of the Tree of Life, scattered across the Earth, sprout,
forming the Zoolungzoolung Forest.
Baba and his friends invite the humans living outside the Zoolungzoolung Forest
to join them in Zoolungzoolung.

Zoolung Friends were created by illustrator Kim Hyun,
the artist behind the picture book series and popular character Guliguli.

To bring Zoolung Friends to life while capturing the unique characteristics of the Zoolungzoolung animals as faithfully as possible,
Kim Hyun spent a year observing the animals,
carefully studying their habits and behaviors, and refining the designs time and time again.

Through the Jureung Friends, who protect zoolungzoolung,
children experience the preciousness of life
based on Zoolungzoolung’s motto, “Life Like Another World,”
while adults rediscover the warmth of their childhood
through Kim Hyun’s distinctive artistic style and color palette.
